Extended Day Extravangaza

Ben is in kindergarden this year; however, in Montessori they call it extended day. The primary classroom consists of children ages 3-6. Everyone works together in the morning for an uninterrupted work period of three hours but only those in their kindergarden year remain in the classroom with their teacher after lunch. This smaller group of kids is the extended day class. In Ben’s class the kids put together a show for the end of the year. They sang, they danced, the performed “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”. Anna congratulated the kids who were moving up to the elementary program. At some point I may get around to editing some of the video from the program but for now these photos will have to do…

I can’t believe that Ben is going to be in first grade. Crazy.
